Ik heb de afgelopen week een paar keer geschreven over OFIT. OiO Gillis Hommen heeft weer een stapje gemaakt:

To give an impression of the ‘optimal’ quality of the RTCAM setup and OFIT
algorithm, I’ve attached an image of a real-time reconstruction from shot 48854,
at t=556us, during an ELM-free H-mode interval.
In the poloidal plane, the OFIT reconstruction is shown in blue, LIUQE in black. This is a very ‘clean’ example, showing the potential quality of the reconstruction when a good
‘signal’ is present in the images.
An observer for the plasma centroid vertical position -based on the visible boundaries of both cameras- shows very good agreement with the centroid vertical position from the magnetic reconstruction. This seems to be suited for a RT control-experiment!
